Our Covid-19 Update

We want to ensure a safe environment for our guests and due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak and following the latest government guidelines are reopening on the 4th of July.

As life has changed beyond recognition, we have to get used to the New Normal and new rules, alas.

Current guidelines from the Government have given permission for the use of shared loo and shower facilities (with increased cleaning) however they have not given permission for kitchen facilities for more than one 'bubble' at a time.

It is logistically impossible for us to provide 40 campers with their own bubble in the kitchen so the camp kitchen will not be available to campers at the moment, only a few glampers.

Please bring everything you need to cook, wash up and cater for yourselves (there are also takeaway options from the local pub - Norman Knight).

FYI There is a separate outdoor washing up station which can be used (opposite the kitchen).

We will of course be cleaning and sanitising regularly but we cannot do that between each customer. We advise you for your own protection, (as there is an increased risk using shared facilities), to bring your own sanitising spray to spray door knobs, loo handles, and taps before use.

Please also observe social distancing in queues for facilities and follow frequent hand-washing procedures.

Obviously if you have any suspicion you are not well, please stay at home.

Apart from all the red-tape we are now asked to have, please remember this is a designated quiet campsite in the grounds of Holycombe Holistic Retreat Centre, with no groups, no music, no children under 12 and no dogs and a curfew after 10p.m.

Our campsite is under jeopardy so if people break these rules so we would be forced to ask someone to leave if they are not considerate.

We have attempted to designate pitches for social distancing by leaving long grass between areas. Please park your car in your own 'pitch and not encroach on someone else's area.

This is so different than the relaxed way we like to be, but we hope for your co-operation, and I'm sure we'll all have a great time!

Stay safe and healthy,

Love to all,
